CenturyLink Information

The Northwest Suburbs Cable Communications Commission (NWSCCC) has received an application from CenturyLink to offer competitive cable services to member cities.

The NWSCCC is currently in negotiations with CenturyLink for these services as they are required to have an agreement in place in order to offer cable television services.

It is important to note that CenturyLink is not proposing at this time to offer cable television services to all homes in the area. Much of it will be dependent on current infrastructure in place that has the capacity to offer cable television services.

The current plan is to complete negotiations for each city to review sometime this Fall before the NWSCCC votes on a final agreement.
