Wayzata Boys Volleyball Wins State Tournament Opener:

The Wayzata boys volleyball team overcame a slow start to defeat St. Paul Johnson in four sets in the state tournament quarterfinals Tuesday. The Trojans prevailed 20-25, 25-17, 25-15, 25-15. Jacob Aslanishvilli had 16 kills, Griffin McLean 13 and Kai Wessman 12 for Wayzata. The Trojans now meet Lake Conference rival Eden Prairie in the semifinals Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at the University of St. Thomas.…
